Electricity and Water
Being solar powered please be aware of not leaving lights on when not needed. Water is delivered weekly and pumped into a 1000 litre container in the attic. This then serves the bathroom (shower and toilet) and the kitchen. As the water supply is limited, we ask you to use it with moderation.
When you arrive we will explain all the details about the house and someone will always be available in case you need anything.
Gignac is less than five minutes away with a very good market on Saturdays. There is also a good supermarket, petrol stations, small village shops, a laundrette and several restaurants. Gignac has a very good tourist office which is worth visiting as there are many local festivals, concerts and other events in the summer not to be missed
From Villetelle you can see the Auberge Pélican. It’s one of my favourite places to eat and during the summer. It’s worth booking a table at the Pélican for delicious, good value, home cooking with local produce and their own wines. (Make sure to book in advance 0467576892, Isabelle speaks English.)
In summer her sister Louise stays with her and offers wonderful massages to really help you relax during your holiday!
There is lots of information in the house about the numerous other places to visit
like the mediaeval village of St Guilhem-
